Tragic reports have confirmed the death of Grammy-nominated singer Jubilant Sykes, who passed away tragically inside his Santa Monica residence.
Cops have finally arrested the celeb’s son in connection with the death.
Officers from the Santa Monica Police Department are said to have rushed to the scene at about 9:20 pm after a 911 call reported an assault in progress.
Upon arrival, they found Sykes with critical injuries that were consistent with a stabbing, as per an official report. His son was found inside the home and taken into the custody of the police. Now, he’s called a suspect. As shared by the police, the suspect was booked for homicide, and the bail amount came out to be $2 million.
The family shared how the suspect had previous mental health issues. However, it’s not known if this contributed to this incident or not, the post read.
Officers claimed that the evidence is currently in process, and a weapon was recovered from the scene. The scenario surrounding this incident remains under investigation, authorities added. ‘It appears that this is an isolated incident arising within a private residence, and there is no ongoing threat to the community,’ they concluded.
