Therefore, she has opted to be on a tight budget and that means saving costs in all matters possible, even if that offended her guests.
This is the story of a real-life frugal bride who went viral online for forcing her guests to pay for their wedding meals. Yes, as crazy as it sounds, the hosts were very open to the idea of no wedding guests but money for food in return.
After being bashed online for coming up with the ridiculous idea, the couple was forced to respond to haters and trolls who just thought the couple should sit at home and tie the knot because this is beyond disgraceful.
“We’re not sure about others, but we’d never want to be invited to a wedding like. Why to have one in the first place if you can’t afford it!”- explained one furious viewer. And just like that, the comments kept on coming in.
“Our goal was just to keep it minimal and basic. We were on a tight budget and if that means saving costs on wedding meals, then so be it!”- the bride explained.
To help put things into better perspective, the couple can be seen mentioning how on average, the costs of weddings have doubled what they used to be. And it’s really hard for people to get married now when there’s never-ending inflation taking place.
