Simone Biles Says She Was Mistaken For A Child And Offered A COLORING BOOK During Her Flight To Texas


Simone Biles has spoken out and recalled the time she was mistaken for a child and offered a coloring book.

The 25-year-old American gymnast, who brought home seven Olympic medals, was allegedly mistaken for a child by a flight attendant during one of her recent flights.

As the young lady, who measures 4′ 8″, revealed, she was on a trip to Washington DC when she became the youngest Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient in history.

After receiving the prestigious award, the gymnast returned home to Texas via plane. While boarding the aircraft, she was allegedly asked by a flight attendant if she wanted a coloring book after being mistaken for a child due to her petite figure.

“Not the flight attendant trying to give me a coloring book when I board… I said, ‘No, I’m good, I’m 25,’” Biles wrote in her post as she shared a selfie from her plane seat.

She later went on to reveal that the crew compensated for their mistake by offering her a mimosa cocktail.

“The other flight attendant gave me a mimosa so we’re in the clear,” she added before explaining that she was asked to confirm that she was old enough to drink alcohol when she was handed a mimosa.

After Simone’s post went viral, viewers quickly saw the funny side of it.

“I’m crying at the thought of a flight attendant giving Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history, a coloring book because she is 4′ 8″,” influencer Matt Bernstein wrote as he shared a screenshot of Biles’ post.

“I would’ve taken it and then ordered a glass of wine,” another person joked.

One user said: “Some flight attendant went to the back and said to a colleague, ‘I’m so embarrassed, I just offered a coloring book to an adult!’ And the colleague went, ‘Um, not just *any* adult.’”
