Horrifying videos were captured that showed the exact moment when the Mexican navy training ship rammed into pedestrians on the shore after hitting the Brooklyn Bridge.
The ARM Cuauhtemoc reportedly rammed into the iconic New York City landmark during the evening hours of Saturday.
This incident sent masts tumbling onto the deck, resulting in some of the 277 people on board receiving serious injuries.
Shortly after that crash, the three-masted vessel careened into a nearby pier, and that enabled several tourists to scramble and flee from its path as panic and fear gripped the air.
People could be heard screaming and yelling from a distance as the ship approached them at full speed.
This landmark itself appeared to be alright at first glance, but the same could not be said regarding the ship or several of its crew members on board.
Speaking to the New York Post recently, the ARM Cuauhtemoc rammed into the famous NY landmark during the evening hours of Saturday, and that resulted in the tall masts tumbling over the deck.
This resulted in injuries to nearly 277 people on board. Shortly after this crash, the vessel rammed into the nearby pier. So far, four people were critically injured and a dozen more were seriously injured in this incident. The total injuries included 19, where several individuals were left with no choice but to jump into the water.
