Horrifying scenes were captured in footage that featured a nurse getting bitten by a huge 220-pound shark during her snorkeling adventure.
Gruesome images showed her struggling for help as the massive creature set its huge jaws inside of her, leaving the deepest crater inside of her.
The daring nurse says she had no idea the waters in the Maldives were going to be infested with sharks. Yet she chose to go on and swim alone, in fact, snorkeling.
According to her, this is not the first time that she’s been here but the way the giant beast grabbed her and clenched its jaws into the side of her body had her stunned.
The massive shark is seen in the footage holding so tightly but she manages to miraculously break away from him, and the images show the huge bite marks he leaves behind without not too much damage.
But if you think that was going to scare her off and not go inside the waters again, well, you’re sadly mistaken.
The 30-year-old nurse named Carmen says people were just in awe at her bravery when she is seen in the footage limping outside of the water with one foot. She actually ended up cleaning the massive 6-inch deep wounds herself before getting back into the water for a second dip.
“Wow, you’ve got to be a whole new kind of crazy to be able to do something like that!”- mentioned one person and another couldn’t agree more.
