Amy Schumer is getting all serious to give her feedback on the new Barbie movie as the star was seen making an appearance on various morning shows for this reason.

The celeb spoke about how she did get offered the lead role but she immediately declined it. But after seeing the views and responses of the audience, it was not too bad after all.

Amy says the script was so much fun and the storyline was a dream. She adds how this would be an absolute pleasure for her to be a part of such a film and the responses it’s been getting are proof of how great it really is.

When questioned about why she chose to take a step back and not be a part of the film, well, it’s only due to her other personal commitments. Yes, the star says she had prior work commitments. Therefore, she could not fit the filming into her schedule and that was a big no-no for her.

The film has so much potential and I want you all to know that the actress revealed. She similarly went into detail about how she promised to watch it and critique it but with such a promising lineup of actors and a great story as well, there is no way such a movie would be getting poor reviews.

The star also gave the production house’s marketing team great applause because as many of us may have noticed, promotions are going strong and people are in love with what’s on display in front of them.

But wait, a little bit of a controversy did strike when the star did mention how there were certainly some changes and tweaks that she felt would be necessary as some things didn’t quite go the way she wanted them to.

And on that note, she felt it was her duty to take a step back because as an actress, she does like to feel confident in her roles and when they are not giving her those vibes, she will take a step back.

“I wanted to be in the lead as a creative inventor. But my ideas were dumbed down and I did not particularly love that”- she concluded.
