Clearly tearing up and overcome with emotion, the actress said: “Thank you so much. You guys know how much I love crying constantly. And I do, it seems. So, thank you.”

The reunion comes three years after Doherty revealed that her breast cancer – which she was diagnosed with in 2015 – had returned and spread to her brain.

“On January 5th, my CT scan showed Mets in my brain. Yesterday’s video was showing the process of getting fitted for the mask, which you wear during radiation to your brain. January 12, the first round of radiation took place,” she said in a June update.

“My fear is obvious. I am extremely claustrophobic and there was a lot going on in my life. I have a fight for my life, that I deal with every day.”

Admitting that she was terrified of her surgery, she added: “The fear was overwhelming to me. Scared of all possible bad outcomes, worried about leaving my mom and how that would impact her.”
