Jimmy Kimmel was seen roasting Robert Downey Jr on several instances at this year’s Oscars Award Show.
The star’s manhood and his previous use of drugs in this shocking bombshell opening monologue had people talking on Sunday.
He also appeared to upset Emma Stone and these were just some of the many huge names at last night’s big show. The host might have been grinning but many felt his distasteful jokes were not done in good humor but very insensitive.
While the host is returning for the fourth time, it seems like old habits die hard as many A-listers started to grin and cringe over what was on display here when he took to the stage.
Downey won the accolade for Best Supporting Actor for his groundbreaking movie that he starred in called Oppenheimer. But the biggest point of concern is how easily he slid by with a joke about Downey’s past coke addiction.
He mentioned how the actor was at one of his career’s highest points, including, ‘Was that too on the nose or a drug motion you made?’ The joke fell flat and Robert seemed very somber while staring at the camera while fans slammed the host for his ‘bottom of the barrel’ sense of humor.
