Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik were reportedly spotted holding hands and kissing while on a secret date.
The 30-year-old actress/singer and the former One Direction star enjoyed a dinner date in New York City amid the rumors they are seeing each other on more than just a friendly basis.
The alleged date was confirmed by Klarissa Garcia who took to TikTok to claim that Zayn and Selena were seen by her friend who works as a hostess at the restaurant where the pair dined.
Strengthening the claim was another source who told Entertainment Tonight that the two celebrities had a date in SoHo, lower Manhattan, after 10 pm on Saturday.
“Selena and Zayn went out in SoHo in New York City last night at around 10:30 pm. They walked in holding hands and were kissing,” the eyewitness said.
“Most restaurant staff and restaurant-goers didn’t notice them. It seemed like they were comfortable together and it was clear that it was a date.”
Fresh hope for the former One Direction star comes after his family pleaded with him to return to Bradford due to his struggles with mental health and cannabis use.
“Zayn’s life has been turbulent in recent years and his loved ones are hopeful that Selena will help ground him and be a calming influence,” the source speaking to The Sun added.
“They’re well suited and are both quite spiritual, so could be a great match in the long run.”
The dating rumors quickly went viral on social media where users couldn’t help but express their excitement over the potential new power couple.
“I really hope this is true, they are perfect for each other!” someone suggested.
“They both deserve all the happiness in the world,” another said.
A third wrote: “Please tell me this is true!!!”
