Terrifying reports have spoken about a 93-year-old woman who was left screaming in pain after waiting for an ambulance.
Shockingly, the ambulance arrived at her doorstep for help after 25 hours. Moreover, distressing images featuring the pensioner are now going viral on social media and many can’t believe what they were seeing.
Ever since the Wales Ambulance Service took notice of the incident, they have apologized and admitted their mistake. The ambulance service was outlined to have been on a strike and that is exactly what led to the distressing condition.
Heartbreaking images of the pensioner lying on the ground in need of immediate assistance are now taking center stage.
The patient’s family has gone on to describe the condition as extremely heartbreaking. They say she was screaming in pain.
The female pensioner had reportedly fractured her hip after suffering from a major fall inside her care home. Moreover, the authorities stated that the incident arose in Wales over the weekend and it was just so devastating for anyone to watch.
Pictures showed the suffering that is just beyond heartbreaking as the woman lay on the wooden floorboard, gasping for air after screaming in pain.
She had a cushion and blanket by her side and was waiting for an ambulance to arrive. Her family has claimed that something like this took about a day to take place. And it was so upsetting to see anyone in this situation. “They never showed up. 24 hours have passed”- the patient’s son revealed.
An investigation into the matter is currently taking place as we speak. But the family hopes no one ever has to go through what this elderly woman went through today. And that’s because so much suffering in this age is just so tragic.
