New claims of Ellen DeGeneres’ toxic traits and behavior have come to light, nearly five years after the dramatic scandal against her first broke.
A former cameraman has alleged that the former host disliked her male staffers so much and was very peeved at all those that tried to mingle with her wife, Portia De Rossi.
The former staffer mentioned how they went through a lot of employees to find that everyone felt the same way about the star, and they were just mortified to be around.
She instilled this bizarre kind of fear and many were just not a fan of it. In some seasons, they went through nine stages of manners to find the right one that would make Ellen happy because that’s just how demanding and scary she was to impress.
Meanwhile, her wife, Portia, was said to be the opposite of Ellen. She was nicer and friendlier to those who worked on the now-defunct talk show, but if a staffer was ever caught in a chat with Portia, they would get into so much trouble.
“You would just hope and pray that you were seated near her wife because if that was the case and you ended up stealing her attention, it was not going to be good”- the former staffer shared. ‘Her gaze was so intense and terrifying,’- they concluded.
