Here is the story of a space scam of the finest degree that has left viewers as shocked as can be.
Think along the lines of a female falling into a trap of a Russian astronaut who stated that he was stuck in space because he didn’t have enough funds to get back to earth.
He begged and pleaded and even offered to return the money back, once he got back on land. And believe it or not, she fell for it. And just in case that was not enough, he even planned to marry her because the duo was reportedly seeing each other before his space trip.
The man started to upload some images of him inside a space shuttle. It all began in the month of June of this year. And it’s needless to say that the entire ordeal was very believable.
The woman whom he called the love of his life was a date that he found online through a dating application. She hailed from Japan and was as loving as can be. But her only drawback was that she was naive and actually believed everything that the other person said.
The man started to communicate with her through the app called LINE. He told her how much he loved her and wished to spend the rest of his life with her too. The only issue is that she was on the earth and he was supposedly in space.
Hence, for his rescue, she decided to help him out. He even made the promise to set up a life in Japan with her. All he needed was ‘landing fees’ and then the duo would get married.
Therefore, she paid him a staggering $30,000 in five installments. But he is believed to have disappeared after that.
It’s a bizarre story that’s currently being investigated but we must say, some people are really blind to love. Don’t you agree?
