Meghan Markle has opened up again in a newly released interview by Variety Magazine.
The Duchess of Sussex was seen not holding back with her thoughts and opinions about her relationship with the royal family. And according to her, it’s not in the best place at the moment.
Meghan says that she’s been misunderstood a lot and that’s where most of the problem arises. In the same way, she added that the media has projected a lot of misinterpretations about her and that is what just makes it so much worse.
Calling the bond with the royals a very complicated affair, Megan did claim that she is super glad of her bond with the Queen. It’s something that she plans on cherishing for the rest of her life.
Meghan called it a bond of great warmth and says she was glad to know a woman of her caliber and share some wonderful moments during her lifetime too.
There was a specific feature called ‘Meghan Markle lets her Guard Down’ and in that, the Duchess went on to add more details about her trip to the UK alongside Harry. And then all of a sudden, the heartbreaking news of the Majesty’s struck, and the couple was devastated.
A sensitive moment did arise during the interview and this was linked to how so many people misunderstood the Duchess that she and Harry were out to destroy the royal family, ever since they opted to emigrate in 2020.
But Meghan adds that this was not the case. She says that she’s super proud of her ties with the Queen and her wonderful relationship. “She was a true matriarch”- she continued.
