We’ve heard the Aquaman 2 movie come up in the explosive Johnny Depp defamation trial several times.
And now, a new report has gone on to confirm how Amber Heard was so close to being eliminated as a whole in the upcoming new movie.
At the start, the actress was signed up for a leading role but by the time the trial got underway and shocking allegations with evidence came forward, not to mention the dramatic testimonies and legal questioning, we saw Amber Heard’s popularity drop by a significant amount.
There were all sorts of rumors about whether or not the actress would still be a part of the major film.
But new reports have confirmed that although she’s not completely out, her role was drastically reduced by a significant degree. And she has her co-star Jason Momoa to thank for that.
Insiders from Hollywood claim the actress should be counting her lucky stars because she was almost removed entirely. But the fact that Momoa stepped in at the right time and with some help from the film’s director too, she’s still in it, although barely.
The news comes despite a major petition being signed by movie fans around the globe that want Amber Heard out of the film. Moreover, that particular petition has gone on to receive a whopping 6 million signatures and counting.
Previously in the trial, we heard the actress blame her former husband Johnny Depp for her role being cut down, adding how the trial and allegations that he put forward against her were shocking.
In the same way, we saw the celeb’s consultant testify how things really went downhill after the lawsuit came into action, putting her career on a downward trajectory.
But again, now we know who to thank and who not to for the actress still being a part of the film and that is Jason Momoa. We hope the celeb isn’t bashed for this because as you already know, the fans of Amber Heard continue to diminish with each passing day.
