JUST IN: Nick Cannon Dresses As Santa Claus To Surprise Children’s Hospital In Honor Of Son Who Died Of Cancer


Nick Cannon is being praised for taking an added step and dressing up as Santa Claus to spread Christmas joy amongst sick cancer patients.

The celebrated host made a visit to a children’s hospital where he not only dressed up in festive attire to make the surprise but also tagged along gifts.

The star says it’s the biggest honor and blessing for him to be able to give back to society in this manner. After all, who knows better than him what it’s like to face the heartbreaking tragedy of losing someone so young to the illness?

Cannon’s son was afflicted with cancer when was born and two years back, he lost him to the disease. This was a huge setback for the star, as viral images of him breaking down in tears arose in the media.

The star was seen sharing the news online through a post published on Instagram. He thanked all those from the Orange County Children’s Hospital for turning his day into one that was super loving and warm, not to mention memorable.

Cannon could be seen donning a unique Santa costume while pictured reading books to the little ones who had big smiles on their faces. He even went on to hand them gifts while posing for pictures during the visit too.

Parents of those admitted were grateful for the star’s efforts and sent him love and blessings. They also offered condolences on the star’s son’s death who reportedly passed away from brain cancer when he was just 5 months old.
