The study goes on to claim that no parent really needs to sit down specifically with their child at any time or at any age to discuss this matter. The researcher goes on to mention that once a child grows up and knows that their parents lied to them about a tradition such as Santa Claus during the festive season, they just might end up wondering what other lies were told to them by their parents. And it’s not a good situation to be in.
