Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez has been arrested in the hospital after allegedly being stabbed in the chest.
38-year-old Sanchez was rushed to the hospital with some critical injuries on Saturday morning after being stabbed during a dispute with a food delivery driver at about 12:30 am. Fox Sports later explained how Sanchez was in a stable condition.
However, it was later alleged that the delivery driver acted in self-defense, and Indianapolis police soon arrived at the hospital to arrest Sanchez for battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and public intoxication.
Cops shared how Sanchez is still in the hospital and is yet to be booked into jail. The former Jets quarterback was in Indianapolis to call Sunday’s NFL game between the Colts and the Raiders for Fox, as shared by the Daily Mail.
Police at the start stated that one of the men in this incident is now known to be Sanchez, who was left with injuries consistent with stab wounds, while the other man was hospitalized as well with significant injuries.
Citing a report from the police, Fox 59 anchor Angela Ganote reported that the alleged victim informed cops that he was delivering food when the Fox Sports commentator told him he needed to move his car and couldn’t park where he was. This led to a dispute that soon turned physical.
