Sabrina Carpenter is breaking her silence and responding to critics over her recently racy album cover.

The 26-year-old celeb sparked serious controversy when she rolled out her original album cover for the seventh studio album, “Man’s Best Friend,” with many taking issue with the idea that it objectified women and promoted sexist stereotypes.

“I think between me and my friends and my family and the people that I always share my music and my art with first, it was… It just was not even a chat,” she mentioned to CBS Mornings.

She continued to elaborate more on how it’s just perfect. For what the album is, it’s perfect for, you know, kind of what it represents – star added. The news comes after the original cover showed Carpenter kneeling in a black number and high heels, grasping a man’s leg as he pulls her hair from above.
