Investigators have yet to rule out the possibility of sabotage that might have played a role in the Air India crash that took place in Ahmedabad earlier this month.
The incident killed 274 people, as per the country’s aviation minister.
The AAIB also confirmed how the aiplane’s flight recorders known as black boxes won’t be sent outside the nation for assessment and would be analyzed by the agency as shared by the minister for civil aviation.
The devastating crash arose at about 2 pm local time when the London-bound Boeing 787 Dreamliner plunged into accommodation for medical students at the Medical College, just moments after it took off.
This was said to be the first crash of its kind involving the Boeing 787 anywhere around the globe. All but a single passenger from those 242 people on board managed to survive, while the rest were killed in the crash.
Many people inside the building were also killed, and as a result, the death toll rose to 274 people in total. The report is said to be released within a timespan of three months amid great criticism from safety experts regarding delays in analyzing the black box data and the lack of transparency linked to this investigation.
