We all know that Saturday Night Live turned 50 and it was a star-studded affair with plenty of A-listers gracing the event.
Amongst those included Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively who did their part to make the anniversary special with their own touch.
The event was held in New York City amid the ongoing legal battles regarding the star’s latest movie ‘It Ends with Us’. 48-year-old Reynolds popped in for a bit to make some jokes and fans were stunned at how he casually brought up the lawsuit between his wife and director Justin Baldoni.
The star didn’t find any reason to stay silent on the matter and started to joke about it. When Reynolds got up to question about the issue while seated in the audience, someone asked him how it was going.
To that, the actor pretended to appear a little jittery and replied, great, why, what have you heard?
That comment was clearly in humor in regard to the bombshell claims made by both sides and their PR teams. Some fans felt it was in bad taste, others thought he was in the midst of ruining another person’s life and therefore should remain silent at public events. What do you think?
