Reports say that the missile is one of the deadliest on the modern-day battlefield, exploding at a much higher temperature than other missiles.

The blasts of Russian missiles also last longer than other conventional weapons.

The missiles were fired by armored rocket launcher TOS-1A, which can be used to destroy infrastructure and cause massive damage to internal organs.

The Ministry of Defense confirmed that a video had shown Russia was using the TOS-1A during their attack against Ukraine. If it was used against civilians, it would be illegal.

Writing for 19fortyfive.com, military expert Sebastian Roblin said: “A TOS-1 rocket barrage will wipe out everything within the 200-by-300m blast zone.”

Military Today also reported that the TOS-1A was adopted by the Russian Army in 2001.

Charlie Gao, a defense and national security commentator, described the weapons as very useful “for a military that might be going into urban combat with little regard for collateral damage.”

This comes as more videos emerge of the attacks on Ukraine’s cities and its residents.

Russia continues its remorseless attacks on many cities. Sumy, Mariupol, Chernihiv and Kharkiv are already surrounded by Russian forces and experienced some of the most brutal missile strikes.

But Ukraine’s air defenses have had ‘considerable success’ against Russian aircrafts, said the Ministry of Defense.

More than two million have fled to neighboring countries, and 1.3 million of these have gone to Poland, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees said.
