A Russian businessman had offered a $1 million bounty to the person who helps bring President Vladimir Putin to justice.
Alex Konanykhin is a former banker and an entrepreneur from Russia whose post went viral after he branded his president as a war criminal and promised a $1 million reward for his arrest.
As the millionaire insists, Putin is not a legitimate president of Russia because he committed mass murder and violated the Constitution.
“I promise to pay $1,000,000 to the officer(s) who, complying with their constitutional duty, arrest(s) Putin as a war criminal under Russian and international laws,” Konanykhin wrote on LinkedIn and Facebook.
“Putin is not the Russian president as he came to power as the result of a special operation of blowing up apartment buildings in Russia, then violated the Constitution by eliminating free elections and murdering his opponents.
“As an ethnic Russian and a Russian citizen, I see it as my moral duty to facilitate the denazification of Russia. I will continue my assistance to Ukraine in its heroic efforts to withstand the onslaught of Putin’s Orda.”
The millionaire went on to share a “Wanted: Dead or Alive” poster with Putin’s face superimposed on it.
After the posts went viral, Facebook has taken down the poster due to its policies which prohibit the enticement of violence.
Following this action, Konanykhin went on to explain himself and suggest that the poster was symbolic saying he merely wants Putin to be “brought to justice.”
“Some reports suggest that I promised to pay for the assassination of Putin. It is NOT correct. While such an outcome would be cheered by millions of people around the world, I believe that Putin must be brought to justice,” the businessman added.
