They say love has no age limits and this next story of Rupert Murdoch is proof of just that and more.
The 92-year-old stunned the world after revealing how he was getting engaged to 66 year old Ann Lesley Smith. This makes it his fifth marriage at such a senior age but he does not appear to mind.
Rupert explained that after his divorce from his fourth wife, he had planned on never tying the knot again. But again, you can never say never and now, we’re just about to witness him tie the knot for the fifth time.
The world was stunned to hear the news, especially considering the fact that it has not even been one year since he split up from his former wife.
Speaking to The New York Post recently, Rupert says that he was left with no choice but to confess his love to Anny Lesley and take a risk.
Now, he’s so glad that he did because the couple is so delighted to announce that they’re getting married very soon.
The famous celeb popped the question to his lover, offering a specially curated solitaire ring that he claims to have carefully picked out himself.
“I dreaded love and relationship and everything that came with it. But I know this will last and it’s meant to be”- he explained.
But the news is not being taken too well by netizens who revealed that this was just a publicity stunt and nothing more. They called him out for jumping from one woman and marriage to another and hoped he would just act his age and relax.
Whatever the case may be, one thing is for sure. This is definitely going to be one unique love story for the books. What do you think?
