The parents of a young child have been blasted on social media for being highly insensitive and entitled to reserving three tables at a busy park.
According to local media outlets, the parents were slammed because they failed to realize that there are others who may want to sit in the same area. After all, it’s public property and not anyone’s private business.
But the parents couldn’t care less and decided to add an awful note by the side for the reservations. And now, netizens are calling the couple out for being so selfish for a child’s birthday party.
The party planners put tablecloths on three tables alongside a very rude note and it really made so many people upset. The note in question called for the park users not to ‘ruin’ their child’s party by using these tables.
Each seat contained a passive-aggressive note and it also warned so many others to steer clear. The threatening ordeal was not taken well at all by many who said it was just wrong to see such behavior in today’s modern society.
As the news went viral on social media, many couldn’t believe what they were reading. They blasted the parents for being so insensitive and using their privileges to make others feel lower than them.
To have terms like, ‘Don’t be the one to mess it up because it’s a 4-year-old’s birthday’ just had so many netizens fuming. They called it humiliating and even added how much people are a waste of space in today’s world.
Other Reddit users aired their disgust by putting up images featuring empty tables and chairs. They felt it was beyond appalling how the parents chose to find this sort of bizarre and rude behavior ok.
