The US President shared how he got great reviews for making the bold decision to transform the classic Rose Garden which involved replacing the lawn with some stone patio.

He justified this latest design by mentioning ‘how he just had to do it,’ and there was no turning back from there.

He also mentioned how the previous grass area was often wet and muddy, and that really made it so unsuitable for many reasons, including the fact that it had no more useful purpose.

The latest patio is said to feature white stone and was described as matching the whole White House, and would reflect heat. However, despite Trump’s very positive reinforcement of this project, social media users were quick to jump in and criticize him. They called the latest redesign a property similar to a parking lot. Another felt it reminded them of a concrete jungle, and a third chimed in about how it was devoid of life.

This historic Rose Garden opened up in 1913 and was enhanced by Jackie Kennedy. It now features a layout that pushes its signature rose bushes to the corner, similar to that observed at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.
