President Donald Trump recently held a crisis meeting inside the White House Situation Room, where he was seen preparing to make the biggest decision of his presidency, whether or not to engage the US forces in the current Israel-Iran war.
The Situation Room gathering featuring the country’s top military and intelligence advisers lasted for about 80 minutes. There was no immediate statement shared from the president about what was discussed.
Trump has already shared some chilling death threats to Iran’s Supreme Leader, who is Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He also shared how the US was very well aware of his precise hiding location and that he’s an easy target.
Four US B-52 Stratofortress bombers were stationed at the Diego Garcia base in the Atlantic Ocean without striking distance of Iran.
These are known for carrying nuclear weapons or other types of precision-guided bombs and were seen on the runway at Diego Garcia on Monday.
Trump made his threat towards the Ayatollah after causing an abrupt end to the G7 meetings in Canada and chose to fly back to Washington. The president did vow that he was not going to take him out for now, but he also shared how he doesn’t want missiles shot at civilians or US soldiers. ‘Our patience is wearing thin’- the post on Truth Social stated.
