But the world-famous legendary musician made it a point to treat his fans to something a little special that’s also known to be so close to his heart. And that was linked to his loving sister being introduced to the world.
She’s 92 but she was adored by each and every one, and they made sure she got a real warm welcome across the board.
The famous musician treated his fans to a little family fun and wanted to see their reactions on stage as he brought his United Kingdom tour to a close. And needless to say, people were shocked and others went insane because this was not a surprise that a lot of them were expecting for obvious reasons.
The 78-year-old rocker who is known for getting crowds to his feet began to sing the famous tune called Sailing. This was a hit from the year 1975.
Moreover, in one clip, you can even see the star performer doing his best by performing in a black-toned sequinned jacket. He happened to be wearing this over a black shirt that had white stripes.
His sister walks back up to him and places a white sailor’s cap with a black beak on top of his head.
While introducing her, the star says this is my sister and she’s 94! Above all, she’s super glad to be here! And that’s when the crowd really started to roar.
Mary could be seen waving to the audience while standing with her arm around her younger sibling. Sir Rod Stewart held the banner for the Scottish flag while he entertained his fans.
Later on, while speaking to the Mirror, he detailed more about how it has been an absolute pleasure to be in the country and how the fans have been nothing but sheer pleasure.
