The US Congress has just passed Donald Trump’s much-talked-about tax and spending bill in a major and hard-fought victory for the president of the USA.

The news comes after a gruelling session on Capitol Hill, where the House of Representatives passed the bill by a majority vote of 218 against 214.

Trump shared the glad tidings regarding the passing of the bill and added how it was one step closer to making America great again, as it would be a major boost to the country’s economy.

The Congressional Budget Office estimates that the bill could add a staggering $3.3tn trillion to federal deficits over the next decade and leave millions without health coverage, which is a forecast that the White House does not agree with.

Speaking to the press after winning the majority, the American President shared how the bill would turn his nation into a rocket ship. He also felt that it would be a great bill for the nation, and he is now expected to sign it into law at a ceremony today.
