America’s sweetheart Tom Hanks is not getting much love after he chose to put up a harsh representative of a Trump supporter while showing up for the SNL 50th anniversary special.

The two-time Academy Award Winner returned to the stage on Sunday night as Doug who was supposed to play the role of a dumb MAGA hat-wearing contestant for the Black Jeopardy segment.

However, the sketch saw the actor doing a terrible representation and even refusing to shake hands with the game show host Darnell Hayes who was played by Kenan Thompson.

His constant reminder that they were black and he was too superior as a white to be talking and shaking hands with them had gotten on people’s nerves.

The skit did not sit down well with supporters of Donald Trump who didn’t hold back their feelings on this matter.

They called it disgusting and tiring for anyone to feel this behavior was okay. Another mentioned through X how the show keeps wondering why their ratings are down the drain. This is proof of that. Another aide of Robert F. Kennedy Jr shared that it was more like seeing the snobbish white elite take over and that the show’s writers had a lot of hard work to put in to come back after this.
