BREAKING: Rihanna Will Be Headlining The 2023 Super Bowl Half-Time Show


Rihanna will be headlining the 2023 Super Bowl half-time show, the singer confirmed.

The 34-year-old Umbrella hitmaker, who turned down the offer to perform at the annual NFL championship in 2019, decided to grace us with her voice at Super Bowl LVII by headlining the event’s half-time show.

Confirming the good news was Rihanna herself who shared a photo of her tattooed arm holding a football high up in the air.

“Rihanna is a generational talent, a woman of humble beginnings who has surpassed expectations at every turn,” Jay-Z, the founder of Roc Nation, said of the young singer.

Roc Nation is reportedly helping coordinate Super Bowl LVII.

“A person born on the small island of Barbados who became one of the most prominent artists ever. Self-made in business and entertainment,” the statement added.

The news was also confirmed by NFL Head of Music Seth Dudowsky who wrote:

“Rihanna is a once in a generation artist who has been a cultural force throughout her career. We look forward to collaborating with Rihanna, Roc Nation and Apple Music to bring fans another historic Halftime Show performance.”

Meanwhile, Apple Music and Beats’ vice president Oliver Schusser said the company was “excited” to partner up with NFL, Rihanna, and Roc Nation to ensure the success of the Super Bowl half-time show.

“Rihanna is an incredible recording artist who is a favorite for many millions of Apple Music customers around the world,” Schusser said.
