Former Vice President Kamala Harris is trying to get herself back into the world of politics with a new means of gaining support.
This includes making a big return to the political scene with a $25 per-stream price tag.
She explained how the goal was to propel herself into the national political conversation, as former aides are teasing an upcoming major speech criticizing President Trump.
The failed presidential candidate will deliver the keynote speech at the Emerge 20th anniversary gala at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco on Wednesday at 10 pm ET.
The speech would be live-streamed as per the organizer, Emerge, which is a Democratic group that hires and trains women to run for public office.
Harris wants to deliver a call to action that would urge more activists to come forward and have their voices heard. This would be linked to Trump’s actions as president, as per CNN.
The group was first founded after Harris won her race for San Francisco’s district attorney, who believed that a lack of resources to hire women for political office was the main reason why people didn’t enter the field.
Not everyone is happy to pay $25, and some critics felt it was not even worth 25 cents.
