Actor Vin Diesel is not getting much love after sparking serious outrage online with his teaser of the upcoming Fast and Furious character Dom Toretto, who will reunite with Brian O’Connor.
For those who are not aware, Brian was played by late star Paul Walker, and this would be featured in the 11th and final movie of the mega $7.4 billion grossing franchise, which is scheduled to hit the cinemas in April of 2027.
The 57-year-old star, who is also a SAG Award nominee, sported a tank top emblazoned with the Fast X Part 2 Los Angeles Production while making controversial announcements listing his three conditions of Universal Pictures as he hit the stage at the Fuel Fest in Pomona last Saturday.
First, it is set to bring the franchise back to LA, it was stated in the fan footage for the event.
It’s worth mentioning that Diesel and his Fast & Furious co-star Tyrese Gibson were joined at this year’s Fuel Fest by Paul’s mom Cheryl Walker and younger brother Cody Walker.
Fans will recall how the Furious 7 director recreated Walker’s face with CGI that was superimposed over the remains of the three stand-ins.
