Elon Musk has reportedly made another shocking change after coming into power.
The world’s richest man who is also the owner of the Twitter app has canceled all forms of remote working. In the same way, Musk was recently seen informing his employees about how there would no longer be any more comfort and luxuries while asking them to prepare for some tough times ahead.
The news comes just a few days after he opted to enable massive layoff of workers across the board. They were reportedly sent out an email that would be deciding their final fate in the firm.
“There is no better way to sugarcoat something like this. It is what it is and I want you all to know that keeping in mind the current economic outlook, these are the types of times that are coming ahead for us all!”- he continued.
Similarly, he was seen warning about how the poor economic forecast would mean a larger effect on the firm that places a huge emphasis on advertising and generates revenue mainly through that means.
The new Twitter boss has reportedly banned remote work and is now expecting all of his officers to be back in the workplace, serving at least 40 hours per week.
This was all mentioned last night through an email where he really put the company’s reality on paper and hoped his workforce would understand where he’s coming from and why he’s being left with no decision but this.
For now, the hours are yet to be confirmed as they’re still subject to approval from him but all in all, it’s definitely a major shocker for obvious reasons.
“The road ahead is tough and we would certainly be needed intense work if we wish to succeed!”- Elon Musk continued.
Moreover, the policies that were outlined in his email of last night are said to be effective immediately.
