Ukraine’s head of state, Volodymyr Zelensky has refused to apologize to President Trump after a shocking showdown at the Oval Office yesterday.
Both nations’ heads of state came head to head with one another and the matter soon escalated out of control with Trump asking Zelensky to leave the prestigious Oval Office.
Zelensky stayed true to his grounds, adding that Trump needed to be more on Ukraine’s side during the first major interview since the disaster press conference at the White House with the President and VP JD Vance.
The tense incident went off the rails when Trump took offense at everything coming out of Zelensky’s mouth, including how Zelensky was talking to Vance with cameras rolling.
Speaking to Fox News, Zelensky said that he did nothing wrong and would never be apologizing. He hoped America would understand where he was coming from and that their relationship could be salvaged.
While there is no trillion dollar deal on the cards, Zelensky did thank Trump and America for their support, calling the country its brother and strategic partner. “I don’t think we did anything bad that deserved an apology!’- he concluded.
