Just when you thought the world couldn’t be a stranger place comes a new suggestion from an educational charity about teachers and their titles.
The charity has gone on to recommend how students will no longer be allowed to refer to their teachers with gender-related titles and that means saying farewell to Mr and Mrs.
Recently, the charity called Educate and Celebrate opted to hold a webinar where all the teachers focused upon LGBT inclusion and that meant no more gender-related titles would be allowed at schools.
The webinar concluded by giving so many authorities the suggestion to rid Mr and Mrs and use more gender-neutral terms like a teacher, whenever referred to staff on campus.
But one attendee did not seem too happy with the decision and opted to brand it as major propaganda while criticizing the union for coming up with such ridiculous suggestions and even going about to fund it too.
“We are going to be moving towards a more gender-free model in the world of education”- added Dr, Elly Barnes who is a leading part of the National Education Union.
The charity in question is renowned for spreading positivity all around and teaching others about the acceptance of LGBTQ. They are now also focusing upon making so many educators aware of the changing trends while putting in effort for training sessions too in regards to this controversial subject.
In addition to that, Dr. Barnes shed light on how it’s so important to drop-down terms like mother, boy, girl, son and make sure they’re replaced with words that are more gender-free and acceptable to all members of society.
