When you think of school proms and fashion for boys, the last thing that would ever cross your mind is an outfit that is bold and daring.

But one young schoolboy left Twitter in a state of absolute frenzy when he chose to show up to the memorable event in a sequined tuxedo jacket, paired well against a bold and vibrant red ballgown skirt.

It’s just as dramatic as it sounds and people were in awe at how daring his choice of attire ended up being.

The 16-year-old named Korben says he’s been in love with experimenting in fashion for so long. And sometimes, fashion styles that are out of the ordinary really do tickle his fancy.

But some people are having reservations as it is setting a trend that they’re not happy with and one that might be misunderstood for something else.

Other conservative mindsets felt a prom should be restricted to a certain formal dress code and anything that is too outrageous or over the top should be banned.

Clearly, it’s a huge debate and people are having their say on what they feel is the right way to go about the situation. But whatever the case may be, one thing is for sure. His parents are supporting him 100% and the same goes for leading celebs of the industry who praised him for going out of the box.

His mother Nina Green did not hesitate to showcase her son’s crazy yet innovative taste or flair in fashion. And while some people gave him a thumbs down, others couldn’t help but praise him and his family for going the non-conventional route.
