Travelers are facing having to pay more for seats with extra legroom thanks to an airline’s new policy.
The carrier’s Boeing 737 8 Max and 737-800 planes are getting a new kind of upgrade of modernization featuring extra legroom. This is all thanks to the plane’s latest policy.
This means the airline would be catering to those travelers having different budgets, and the plane reveamps would be shared by chiefs of WestJet shortly.
There would be a premium cabin featuring 12 seatss and these will feature the reclining seat backs. The design seems to replicate the same experience that travelers aboard the Boeing 787 Dreamliners experience.
Meanwhile, in economy class, there would be extended comfort section and a standard economy. Travelers who sit inside the standard economy seating have the least amount of space when it comes to legroom.
WestJet chiefs shared how the cabin changes are part of mega plans to better and expand the choices on offer for travelers. ‘WestJet has always been a pioneer in making air travel available to Canadians, mostly by keeping costs low to offer affordable airfare tickets,’- the post read.
The layout for the refreshed cabin caters to the guests’ diverse preferences, sources mentioned. ‘Whether they opt for premium seating with extra features and legroom or for more afforadable ticket prices with less space, the airline is excited to introduce this range of products for the passengers to enjoy.
