Rebel Wilson has welcomed her first baby via a surrogate, the 42-year-old actress announced.
Catching her devoted fans and followers by surprise, the Pitch Perfect star on Monday morning revealed that she is now a proud mother to a baby daughter named Royce.
Announcing the big news, Wilson also shared a photo showing her posing in a pink dress while holding a bunch of balloons next to a column comprised of boxes that spelled out the word baby.
The proud mama also shared a photo of little Royce in which the newborn is seen resting on top of a soft cushion while wearing a pink onesie and unicorn socks.
“Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate,” the actress wrote.
“I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle! I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making.
“But particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care.”
Rebel went on to thank her surrogate for helping her start her own family while branding little Royce as “the best gift” she could get.
“I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable. I am learning quickly… much respect to all the Mums out there! Proud to be in your club,” she concluded in her surprise message.
On the day of her announcement, Wilson was also pictured going for a stroll outside her home in black sneakers, black leggings, and a pink shirt accompanied by a white hat.
