A new campaign is taking center stage and this time around, it’s linked to making rapper Kanye West a billionaire again.
The troubled musician was not only severely criticized but left in a state of absolute and total ruins recently when he opted to make a range of controversial and highly offensive anti-Semitic remarks against the Jewish community.
Instead of apologizing, he reportedly told news outlets that he would never be doing that because the Jews did him wrong.
This is one of the worst examples in history that feature the rapper behaving in such an unapologetic manner. In the same way, it was just shocking for top brands immediately cut off links with the rapper because it felt that was the best way to go about the situation.
So many people condemned the behavior and the horrendous anti-semitism was also seen taking center stage.
Still, many are yet to receive an apology and they’re not quite sure if they’ll actually end up getting it or not.
But we did see the Black community get an apology from West after he incorrectly and very insensitively claimed that George Floyd died from an overdose of fentanyl and not due to oppression by a white cop who placed his knee against his neck. And that is what led the black man to run short of breath, ultimately leading to his death.
The rapper didn’t agree with the verdict and was later slammed and sued by Floyd’s family for the mega accusations and defamation. But during a recent conversation with photographers on Friday, West claimed that he really was insensitive about the whole matter and didn’t think before he was speaking.
Therefore, he wished for an apology and prayed that he would be getting it soon too.
