More Than $400k Raised For Burger King Employee Who Was Given ‘Goodie Bag’ After 27 YEARS Of Service

A hard-working employee from leading American fast food chain Burger King made headlines recently after he was only given a tiny goodie bag, despite serving the firm for more than 27 years.

As expected, the news had people at a standstill as they just could not believe how mediocre of a reward that was, considering how many long hours he had put in.

Sources from local media outlets revealed how this young man was the most dedicated employee you could ever come across. He always did his job with a huge smile on his face. But that’s not all. He used to never ever miss a single day at work and for 27 years, nothing changed.

But the day he called it quits, he should have been celebrated. However, it was far from the case. Instead, he was given a tiny goodie bag that man referred to as the saddest thing that they’d ever put their eyes on.

55-year-old Kevin Ford went viral last weekend when it was observed that he was given a goodie bag featuring a few pens, movie tickets, and some small Reeses chocolates.

Therefore, the news did not take long before it went viral. Not only was America’s leading fast-food chain blasted for doing the unthinkable, people took matters into their own hands.

They decided the time had come to raise funds through a GoFundMe that was begun in his name and honor. And so far, the results have been promising for the campaign.

The idea of the campaign actually came from his own daughter and so far, $402,000 has been raised from strangers and celebs including comedian David Spade who just donated $5000, encouraging others to do the same.
