So many celebrities are speaking out and opting to leave the famous digital platform of Twitter after billionaire Elon Musk took over.
Clearly, this was not the sort of warm welcome that many people were expecting and Musk is definitely part of them.
We’ve seen Elon Musk beat around the bush in terms of buying Twitter and not buying Twitter. Then we heard about a possible court case taking center stage.
But now that the mega $44 billion acquisition deal has taken place, there is one thing on everyone’s mind. It’s being called the biggest joke in history that Musk has put forward.
All Blue subscribers will be forced to pay $20 a month for their subscriptions, taking a massive jump from the $5 that we witnessed last month.
Now, there aren’t a whole lot of exclusive features being talked about here. And yet to see the massive jump in price is definitely worrisome for quite a few users.
Many people, including celebs, feel this is the best time to pack up their bags and leave because it’s just not a good time to stay with such rules coming into play.
Then we saw Musk fire executives, one by one, never looking back at his decision. He even fired the firm’s CEO and that was one of the boldest moves of them all.
Well, the reason why is simple. He felt that firing them for cause would prevent them from taking on millions in stock as compensation for the act.
We saw the likes of celeb screenwriter Shonda Rhimes bid the app farewell forever. She feels that it’s time to pack her bags as no one has time to hang around for Elon’s Drama.
Actor Ken Olin felt the same and just didn’t want the app to be full of bizarre rules that act unjustly against some people, more than others.
