EXCLUSIVE: Queen’s Corgis See Her Off For The LAST Time As They Wait On The Steps Of Windsor Castle


The Queen’s corgis were recently seen bidding her a final farewell in what many described as the most heartbreaking moment captured in pictures today.

The little pups were seen sitting on the steps of Windsor Castle ahead of the Committal Service.

Mick and Sandy are famous for being loved and adored by the late Monarch and have now been given to the Duke of York and his wife to look after them.

Both pets were seen being accompanied by two trusted aides during today’s tragic proceedings that unfolded in London.

The dogs will now go and live at the Royal Lodge near Windsor Castle, sources explained.

The dogs were famous gifts to the Queen from Prince Andrew and his young daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Moreover, they were given to Her Majesty to help her cope with the death of her beloved husband, Prince Philip, last year.

Today, the Monarch’s pets were seen walking on at least with a royal aide. They observed in silence as the entire world mourned the Queen’s death as her coffin was driven in a gun carriage to the St. George’s Chapel, where she was lowered to rest next to her husband, Prince Philip.

Both dogs were held using leashes by the palace staff. They seemed to be waiting patiently at the castle’s forecourt.

The Queen was hailed for having a lifelong love for all kinds of animals and enjoyed riding horses throughout her life.

Hence, watching the pets wait for her coffin to be driven away to its final resting place broke many viewers’ hearts around the globe.

Thousands gathered for today’s funeral procession and stood in line to wave a final goodbye as the late Queen’s coffin was loaded in a gun carriage and driven to its final resting place.
