A new report coming from Buckingham Palace is going on to speak about how royal aides are working silently to try and remove ‘Consort’ from Queen Camilla’s title.
The incident, if and when it takes place, will reportedly be a major happening before King Charles’ coronation, explained insiders who said the decision is being taken in a silent manner.
Meanwhile, the report that leaked the news now claims that such a move would only take place if and when there is enough public demand and appetite.
The coronation is scheduled to take place in May of next year. Hence, aides at the Royal Palace are hoping to get the term removed by then, insiders confirmed.
“The decision totally depends on how warmly the public ends up accepting Camilla as she makes her way into this new role”- another insider went on to explain.
The late Queen Elizabeth II had mentioned at her Platinum Jubilee event this year in February how Camilla would get the title of Queen Consort and she would be grateful if the country accept her in that very role after her death.
Moreover, Charles mentioned during his speech while ascending the throne that he would be counting on his loving and dear wife Camilla for her assistance during this period of the monarchy.
He also added that she now becomes his Queen Consort. Hence, to see the term suddenly be removed or vanished from public sight is a little shocking, to say the least.
Some sources believe that over time, the popularity of Camilla has reached new heights and there is very much the possibility that the title of Queen is adopted in her case.
But after the news went viral online, not a lot of people were happy with the sounds of it.
