BREAKING: The Queen Tests Positive For COVID, Buckingham Palace Confirms


Buckingham Palace has confirmed that the Queen has tested positive for COVID amid an outbreak at Windsor Castle.

The news comes just weeks after the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, and wife Camilla, tested positive for the virus.

A statement was released today by Buckingham Palace who confirmed the news, adding how the Monarch is experiencing mild flu-like symptoms that are expected to continue alongside her light duties.

It was also revealed how her Majesty is receiving medical attention at the moment and will continue to do so as regular protocol. They also spoke about how strict measures of isolation and appropriate guidelines were also being followed at the moment.

This particular news comes just a few days after the Queen was pictured cutting a cake that marked her historic Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

On February 11, Prince Charles tested positive for the virus for a second time and he began to self-isolate. He reportedly met her Majesty, about two days before and had reportedly spent time by her side at Windsor Castle.

But at that time, the Palace refused to comment on whether or not the Queen had tested positive for the virus or not as many rumors began to pour in regarding her health.

On February 14, the Duchess of Cornwall had tested positive for COVID, and more speculation began to grow about the Queen’s health. But that is when inside sources revealed how palace officials from Buckingham Palace would certainly not be keen on running commentary for her Majesty’s health.

Despite testing positive, the Queen still made it a point to send out a congratulatory message to Great Britain’s team at the Olympics who managed to secure medals with their outstanding performance.
