The Queen reportedly banned the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from having a private photographer capture the moment she met the couple’s daughter Lilibet.
The 96-year-old monarch is said to have met Lilibet for the first time on Thursday.
According to The Sun, Harry and Meghan wanted a photographer to take a photo of their daughter meeting the Queen.
However, the couple were allegedly told ‘no chance’ as it was a ‘private family meeting.’
Palace staff may have worried any pictures taken by the Sussexes would be shared with TV networks in America.
Harry and Meghan, who were largely absent from the festivities, were last seen on Friday at the Thanksgiving service in St. Paul’s Cathedral, where they were met with some booing. They reportedly spent most of their time at Frogmore Cottage.
The couple also hosted a ‘relaxed’ birthday party for Lilibet at the Windsor grounds.
Meghan and Harry did not attend the Platinum Party but stayed with the Queen in Windsor to watch the concert.
This comes as the couple were reported to have left the UK an hour before the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration ended.
The parade told the story of the Queen’s life and the country with imaginative, fun and eccentric carnival-like display.
During their visit, the Duke and Duchess were also seen at the Trooping of the Color.
Harry and Meghan appeared to have arrived back in California with presents from the Royal Family as a member of their team was seen carrying a wooden swing with rope.
Another staff was also seen reaching for a blue scooter to put it into an SUV.
Harry was photographed looking very serious after almost five days of being away from the US.
