Russian President Vladimir Putin is expecting a daughter with his ‘lover’ Alina Kabaeva, 39, despite previously claiming that he has ‘enough children as it is’.
The Kremlin leader is believed to have two sons with the ex-gymnast, who was once dubbed ‘the most flexible woman in Russia.’
In 2015, the Olympic gold-winning was photographed in 2015 pregnant with a baby boy, who was secretly born in Switzerland.
Kabaeva’s second son was born in 2019 with the same obstetrician flying to Russia to deliver the baby, an investigation by Swiss broadsheet newspaper Sonntagszeitung reported.
Putin, 69, has firmly denied a relationship with Kabaeva and has hidden his alleged secret family from Russians.
But according to the General SVR Telegram channel, the two are now expecting a baby girl.
“We have already reported that Alina Kabaeva, the cohabitant of the President of Russia, is pregnant. Yesterday the sex of the unborn child became known – this is a girl,” the post read.
But Putin was said to be unimpressed by the announcement as the post said that the news “did not please the future father and president of Russia,” The Sun reported.
The report also claimed that when the 69-year-old was told of the news, he said: “I have enough children as it is, and had enough daughters long ago.”
Kabaeva was last spotted a month ago in Black Sea resort Sochi at a rhythmic gymnastics training camp.
According to news outlet Moskovsky Komsomolets, the ex-gymnast had “lost quite a lot of weight.”
“Alina loves expensive stylish outfits, which, being the head of the National Media Group, she can afford,” they said.
“Alina talked with the children in white trousers, a lilac long sleeve [blouse] and a matching cardigan. The tanned star covered her eyes with stylish white-framed sunglasses.”
