Russia has issued a stern warning to countries of the West about the dire consequences of pumping weapons into Ukraine.
Local media reports claim that Russia has boldly outlined that any form of military shipments being made to Ukraine were clear targets, prompting fears regarding how there could be a further escalation in the already growing conflict.
This means that the war between Ukraine and Russia could potentially end up sucking other nations, leading to the start of another world war.
On the other hand, the country’s Deputy Foreign Minister also said how it now keenly observing the actions of the US who continued to send weapons to Ukraine through the hands of other nations. The Russian minister referred to it as a dangerous move that makes these particular convoys legitimate targets for attack.
The array of warnings come at a time when President Joe Biden had personally made efforts to intervene and halt a recent shipment of MiG fighter jets from Poland being sent out to Kyiv, as he feared the move would result in World War Three.
However, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has gone about slamming the West regarding its inability to put a stop to Russia, adding how he failed to see any form of bravery being displayed by NATO during these testing times.
In the same way, the President has also pleaded for greater involvement from all the allies involved in its peace negotiations, with offers to pay for more ‘anti-missile systems’ as that is something that they needed.
Meanwhile, the US responded to this by stating how it promised to take more diplomatic measures to assist the Ukrainian government.
Ukraine’s President Zelensky says that nearly 1300 Ukrainian forces have died in the war so far with nearly 500 Russians surrendering in battle yesterday. He also gave out a warning to Putin’s forces regarding their efforts to storm the capital, adding how it would only be possible if they managed to raze it down to the ground.
