Brooke Shields is turning on her own mother in public as the celeb was seen blasting her for a number of ordeals from the past.
Shields questioned her mother’s intentions of forcing her to pose without clothing for numerous photoshoots, asking her why it was so necessary to do something at such a young age.
The 57-year-old could be seen getting really candid during her latest interview. She broke down into tears and recollected all of the painful and tragic memories of her childhood. And now, her statements are going viral online.
The celeb says a mother allowing her daughter to pose naked to attain fame and fortune was just wrong in her books.
“As a mother myself, I would never allow or encourage my children to do that. But she did. And she saw nothing wrong with it. This is where the problem lies”- the celeb continued.
She also revealed how her mom encouraged her to play the role of a child p*ostitute at the age of 11! And that again left her without any words. “Who does that? I just want you to know mom that this was not alright!”- Shields continued, leaving the audience stunned.
“Doing Pretty Baby at this age was not fun. I was 10, what was she expecting? Did she not know what sort of an impact it would leave on my life!”- she explained.
The actress is now claiming that it was her co-star that saw the pain and stress on her face. She knew that she was not okay with it. And hence she reassured her to continue and remember that this was all fake and make-believe and by doing this, she was not a bad person.
The fact that her mom was there on set and yet did nothing to comfort her has really stood by her with the years passing by.
This candid interview is for a documentary on Hulu that is all set for release on April 3 and sources revealed how the star has never been so open about her personal life and family relations.
