The Crown has been winning the hearts of royal fans and followers for many seasons but now, a new report is speaking about Buckingham Palace rushing to intervene and protect King Charles’ reputation.
Royal insiders feel it’s high time the palace stepped in to prevent Netflix from putting up an exploitative drama related to King Charles’ wedding to Princess Diana and his affair with Queen Consort Camilla.
Sources revealed how series five of the famous drama will go on to detail the split between Charles and Diana that reportedly took place during the 1990s. This series will reportedly be released on November 9 and will also include famous television interviews of the couple.
Insiders claim no one is interested in the Royal family to see more drama take center stage and the fact that Charles has recently ascended the throne and is in a state of mourning just means that more drama isn’t necessary. And that’s why calls are being made for the blocking of such exploitative displays.
But that just might disappoint fans and followers who are major fans of the show and have been waiting for the story to move on and show the reenactment of what really went on and how the pair broke up and led their separate lives afterward.
Meanwhile, one friend to the King was seen mentioning how international streaming giant Netflix would have zero qualms about mingling with other people’s reputations. And that’s why the show is getting branded as being exploitative.
This weekend saw many fans and followers get super excited at the launch of the new trailer that featured little snippets of Princess Diana and Prince Charles, played by talented actors.
But with so many controversial stories up for grabs and how it’s going to be portrayed to millions around the globe, the Palace is stepping in to stop the show from screening an exploitative version of real life.
