Jimmy Kimmel might have gotten over his major hump with ABC after the network chose to lift his suspension and allowing him to get back to TV this week, but the legal woes continued.
The show is currently embroiled in an ongoing lawsuit. The mega $3 million lawsuit against the late night TV host’s production firm is heading towards a new stage after a writer alleged that he was tased on set of the prank show Johnny Knoxville co-hosted, and Jimmy co-executive produced. Daniel Curry mentioned how Johnny had tased him on the set of Prank Panel, a show for which Jimmy happened to be the executive producer, in September of 2022.
The long-time writer and producer happened to be a consulting producer on the briefly aired ABC show at the time that he was allegedly tasered, which he says was on September 22, 2022.
Now, Daniel claims that the incident has permanently damaged his leg, and so he’s seeking a mega $3 million in damages. Daniel mentioned to the US Sun that he’s ready to publicize the information he’s kept in private for so many years.
He added how the comedian Eric Andre, someone who was also on set at the time, attempted to dismiss the incident as just being Jackass behavior.
